Teal Cat Project

The Teal Cat Project - such a lovely idea! A donation of $25 (plus shipping) will be exchanged for a lovely ceramic, often vintage, teal cat. That money goes directly towards various kitty cat rescue programs. Each cat is upcycled with teal paint, and outfitted with a numbered tag for authenticity. They are SOLD OUT at the moment, but they are selling t-shirts Check out the awesome website!  http://tealcatproject.com/

Tis all about Pinterest..

Lets face it, all I mostly reblog or tumblr is cool stuff i've seen on the net & saved on my computer. I've since discovered PINTEREST. You install this neat 'pin it' button on your toolbar & can 'pin' every cool thing you see to a 'board'. I can save everything in one location, in various categories. Amazoid. Addictive. Tumblr can seriously eff off.

Jacques Audiard's A Prophet

Malik El Djebena is a 19 year old petty criminal jailed for six years in France. In jail he is subjected to various brutalities & eventually rises to the top of the ranks. The Guardian states: "The plot is intricate and tightly wound, and Audiard exerts formidable control over every frame so that two and a half hours flash by in an instant." Yes. This film is brutal & moving, and will stick to you afterward; i highly recommend it.

Filmz

Italian director Paolo Sorrentino's latest film is "music-centric revenge tale", “This Must Be The Place,” starring Sean Penn and Frances MacDormand. The title is taken from an awesome song by Talking Heads & lead singer David Byrne is actually scoring and writing original music for the film too. He’ll also be working with Will Oldham on songs. Sean Penn will be portraying the Robert Smith look-a-like protagonist whose musical talents and abilities will evidently be explored through the writing of Byrne and Oldham. Weee.
